Who I Am

I’ve been performing for about as long as I can remember, from my 4th-grade class’ Halloween play, I’ve been hooked on acting and couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

Since then, I’ve only become more enamored with the discipline. Consistently performing in middle and high school shows, where I gained a background in Shakespeare, dialects, and stage combat.

Graduating into the pandemic, I decided to take two years in Community College, where I did a Zoom show, and through the director, auditioned for a community theater production of West Side Story. It rekindled my love for the art, and gave me a direction. One of my friends from the production recommended UCI to me, and I applied to transfer that fall.

My UCI career has been even more exciting. Doing a mix of plays and musicals, devised projects with friends and mainstages with professional directors. Taking specialized classes with the amazing faculty.
